Ron and I spent a nice day on Phillip Island recently with some other Latrobe Valley Field Naturalists. The weather was ideal, the tourists and motorbikes not so! It was very pleasant to catch some sea air and of course those seascapes had to be photographed.
Penguins, terns, gulls and geese, were particularly on the bird list, which I imagine was pretty extensive by day's end. A few butterflies too engaged a couple of us for a while.
