We're Still Alive...

... here in Gouldiae land - apparently.

G'day All,
Busy, busy, busy. Hopefully we are back to somewhere near normal.

Heaps of 'greenfeers' on the course at present. Some are as slow as...

The Long-necks have been on the move a bit as they search for nest sites. I've come across them in the bush, middle of the fairways and this one as it crossed the first green and tried to make sense of the flag stick!

A nice little interlude in a busy day.

Regards,
Gouldiae.

  3. Delightful photo essay Gouldiae - seems like the long-neck was a bit off-course in its search for a nesting site.

  5. I always thought most slow players had got extra thick skins. Nature confirms it.

  6. G'day All,
Thought this little series might produce a few puns etc. We're fortunate enough to have a little water in a couple of places around the course, so I've been seeing the torts all over. Be nice to explore some spots for a nest and then monitor it.

  9. G'day Boobook,
No. This green is 20 metres from our house. I took some time off to go home and get the camera! (So I've told the committee anyway).
