Spring Must Be Nigh.
G'day All, Spring can't be far away. With a chrrrr.. and wheeze and a rattle, the Bowerbirds flew in to clean up one of the bowers this morning. Judging by the green throat, this is probably a 3rd or 4th year male.
Great photo the blue eye stands out.
ReplyDeleteWill have to keep a look out for the Regent up this way.
A bit nicer than the recent harbingers of spring round here - a few blowies inside the house when I left the door open the other day!
ReplyDeleteG'day Ros,
ReplyDeleteYeah, had a blowie or two here at home too. You'd think it'd be way too cold.
Dad.
You get bowerbirds? What a wonderful area you live in.
ReplyDeleteG'day Boobook,
ReplyDeleteYep, not a bad little birding spot. We are just a km or two out of town, but there are town gardens with bowers in them too.
Gouldiae.
