"1000's of waders", he said...

... "I think they're over here".

"No, down this way, quick"

"There they are, quick get a photo".

G'day All,
Look, it wasn't really like that. Got me out of watering and mowing for a bit anyway, and I did get to see the new gear in action - barbed wire and all!
Regards,
Gouldiae

  1. :) :) :) :) :) :), Gouldiae!
I can see at least 2000 plovers (?) on one of the shots!
But you've had a good time, haven't you?
    Best regards

  2. Indeed Nickolay, indeed. Any day out in the bush, or even the mud, with DF is a good day.

  3. All I seen today were chooks and domestic ducks.

What are the flowers in the first shot?

  4. Is that someone playing with a new camera?
As with Mosure, I am asking about the pink flowers.

  5. Sounds like fun - but details about the new gear would be nice -then I can get even more envious :-)

  6. One of the Pig Face species was flowering profusely in spots. It was about the healthiest plant we saw. The salt levels in our 'world heritage' Gippsland Lakes is causing even giant red gums to curl up their toes, and all anyone wants to do is talk about it - don't start me!

  7. I've never used this before, but lol, Gouldiae, you started my day off with a good guffaw. Talk about being damned with faint praise! Ah well, we sometimes have a wild goose chase, even if we don't see the goose. We saw three echidnas though. And I bought you a cold drink and an icecream to try and make up for the disappointment. You can lead next time, and look out if it's not a good'un. :-)

  8. Yeah DF,
And we didn't even see a wild goose!
